Elevate your 2020-2026 Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra 2500HD 4WD with this premium 5-inch lift kit from BDS Suspension, engineered for serious off-road performance. The innovative No Torsion Bar Drop System keeps torsion bars mounted directly to the lower a-arm, maximizing ground clearance without compromising structural integrity. This comprehensive kit delivers everything needed for aggressive 37-inch tire fitment while maintaining refined on-road handling through precision steering geometry correction. Heavy-duty components include reinforced steel crossmembers, multipiece differential relocation brackets, and protective skid plates designed to withstand demanding terrain. CNC-machined steering knuckles ensure optimal suspension geometry at the elevated ride height. Built on BDS's proven high-clearance architecture, this suspension system combines enhanced stance, superior off-road capability, and dependable durability for trucks that demand more.

These combined with the provided sway bar drops, stainless steel brake lines, supplied hardware and more provide a comprehensive front suspension lift ready for whatever you throw at it. In the rear BDS offers replacement lift blocks and u-bolts to lift and level that stance. The lift block installs in place of the stock block and retains ride quality and load capacity. Also included, BDS supplies brake line and ABS line relocation brackets allow the use of factory brake lines. Lastly are a matching set of FOX 2.5 HTO Performance Series shocks.

High Clearance Crossmembers

BDS maximizes ground clearance with their heavy duty 1/4-inch thick laser cut perfect fit crossmembers. Paired with a front skid plate system that bolts together to create a rigid subframe while adding extra protection.

Heavy Duty Steering Knuckles

BDS corrects steering geometry at the new taller ride height using a pair of high-strength, CNC machined ductile cast iron steering knuckle design to work with factory tie rod ends to maintain steering angles for proper function.

FOX 2.5 Performance Series HTO Shocks

The FOX 2.5 Performance Series HTO shock is a bolt-on shock loaded with position-sensitive technology, vehicle-specific valving, and larger pistons to improve on and off-road performance. A type II anodized aluminum body efficiently dissipates heat and prevents corrosion. The 2.5-inch shock body features an internal floating piston (IFP) to separate the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen, optimizing damping.

Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) technology offers usable position-sensitive rebound damping control on and off the pavement. HTO reduces harsh top-outs and increases comfort by forcing shock oil through a secondary shim stack to slow down shock shaft speed; HTO is particularly beneficial after installing heavier, aggressive tires and applications lifted higher than OEM specification. Bolt-on 2.5 Performance Series HTO shocks to increase damping capacity and ride in comfort with position-sensitive rebound control.

Models with twopiece rear driveshafts will require a carrier bearing drop kit.

Factory 17-18" wheels cannot be reinstalled due to tie rod end interference, stock 20" wheels can be reinstalled with up to a 35x12.50 tire.

In some cases vehicles used in 4WD on the highway regularly could potentially experience a minor front driveline vibration. If this occurs we recommend replacing the front driveshaft with a dual Cardan style driveshaft.

Some minor trimming will be required with certain wheel/tire combination. This is normal with most aftermarket tire/wheel fitment on Chevy/GM trucks. Trimming will normally included the bottom edge of the inner fender shrouds and/or lower corner of front bumper valance. As a rule of thumb, deeper backspacing and shorter/narrower tires will reduce/eliminate trimming required. Further trimming tips are included at the end of this instruction sheet.
