Genuine AEV in Australia

Tough Trucks is an authorised Australian supplier of American Expedition Vehicles. AEV designs, tests and builds premium off-road parts in the USA — OEM-level fitment with the durability overland and work trucks actually need.

We spec and install AEV for RAM, Chevrolet, GMC and Ford. AEV is not sold online on this site. Browse the range below, then call or email for pricing. Kits are supplied and installed at our workshops, or through our dealer network.

DualSport suspension

AEV DualSport suspension is the core of most of the kits we spec. DualSport is designed to keep factory geometry, so the truck still drives like a truck — on the highway, on the tracks, and on a 37" or 40" tyre. We fit DualSport RT, XP and SC kits for RAM 2500/3500, RAM 1500, Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, Colorado and Canyon, and Ford Super Duty.

On RAM HD, the kits we spec most are the 3" DualSport RT and XP systems for 37" or 40" tyres. Tell us the vehicle, tyre size and how you use it and we will spec the kit.

Bumpers, winch mounts and armour

AEV bumpers and protection are winch-ready, sensor-aware and built to look factory — not a bolt-on afterthought. We supply front and rear bumpers for RAM HD (including the 2019+ RAM HD front bumper and 2013+ rear bumper), Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500/HD, Colorado and Canyon, and 2023+ Ford Super Duty.

Skid plates, HighMark flares, tire carriers and winch mounts are spec’d with the bumper so the armour, recovery points and lighting all work as one AEV system.

Wheels, HighMark flares and snorkels

AEV wheels are designed around DualSport ride height and tyre clearance — Salta HD / Salta XR / Salta XD, Katla and Crestone. Pair them with HighMark fender flares when you are moving to a 37" or 40" tyre on RAM HD, Colorado ZR2 or Super Duty.

AEV snorkels raise the air intake for RAM HD, Silverado HD, Sierra HD, Colorado and Canyon. They are a common add-on when we are already in the guard for a DualSport and flare package.

RAM, Chevrolet, GMC and Ford

The catalogue is vehicle-specific. Use the filters for RAM 2500, RAM 3500, Colorado, Silverado/Sierra and Super Duty, or tell us the year, make and model. AEV’s point of difference is that the parts are engineered as a kit for that vehicle — bumper, lift, wheels and snorkel that actually fit together.

Workshops and dealer network

AEV kits are sold as a supply-and-install job, not a cart checkout. We fit RAM, Chevrolet, GMC and Ford AEV at Tough Trucks HQ in Arundel on the Gold Coast and Tough Trucks NQ in North Mackay, or we supply a kit through our dealer network for install closer to you. Call 07 5500 0095 or email info@toughtrucks.com.au for pricing.

We do not install AEV Jeep kits. Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator enquiries are referred to a partner installer.

AEV FAQs

Can I buy AEV products online?

Not at this stage. AEV is not available for online checkout on Tough Trucks. Browse the range on this page, then call or email for pricing and we will spec the kit.

How do I get AEV pricing?

Call 07 5500 0095 or email info@toughtrucks.com.au with your year, make, model and what you want to do with the vehicle. We will quote genuine AEV parts and, if you want it, install at one of our workshops or through a dealer.

Do you install AEV kits?

Yes — for RAM, Chevrolet, GMC and Ford. We install at Tough Trucks HQ in Arundel on the Gold Coast and Tough Trucks NQ in North Mackay. If you are not near either workshop, we can supply the kit through our dealer network for install locally.

Do you do AEV for Jeep Wrangler or Gladiator?

No. We do not spec or install AEV Jeep kits at Tough Trucks. Jeep enquiries are referred to a partner installer. Call 07 5500 0095 and we will put you in touch.

Can I buy the parts and fit them myself?

AEV through Tough Trucks is set up as a kit — supply and install at our workshops, or supply via a dealer. Talk to us about the job. Some supporting parts can be supplied with a workshop or dealer install; we do not currently sell AEV as an add-to-cart spare-parts catalogue.

What are your most popular AEV kits?

The kits we spec most are DualSport suspension and bumper packages for RAM HD and Chevrolet Colorado / Silverado HD — usually with AEV wheels and, where it suits the build, HighMark flares and a snorkel. RAM HD 3" DualSport on 37" or 40" tyres is a typical enquiry.

What is AEV DualSport?

DualSport is AEV’s suspension system. It lifts the vehicle for tyre clearance while holding factory-style geometry, so the truck still tows, tours and daily-drives. RT, XP and SC kits cover different heights, tyre sizes and duty. We will spec the one that matches your vehicle and tyres.

Which vehicles does AEV fit?

The AEV kits we supply and install are for RAM 1500/2500/3500, Chevrolet Silverado and Colorado, GMC Sierra and Canyon, and 2023+ Ford Super Duty. Check the listing for year, or call us with the vehicle details. Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator AEV is referred to a partner installer.

Do you do engineering or a mod plate with an AEV lift?

When we install at Arundel or North Mackay, ask us about engineering and a modification plate at the same time as the quote. Requirements depend on the vehicle, lift height and how it is registered. Dealer-network installs should have engineering planned with that workshop.

Are AEV parts bought elsewhere grey imports?

Genuine AEV for the Australian market should come through Tough Trucks or our dealer network. If the kit did not, treat it as a grey import. Warranty, fitment support and local install may not apply.
