The LOGIQ AirIQ SD2 is a 2-channel airbag controller with an onboard compressor. It gives you independent left and right control of your airbags from the free AirIQ app or the optional AirIQ Remote. Dual-channel valving lets you run different pressures side to side, so offset loads like a side-heavy toolbox, a water tank or a canopy fit-out are easy to level.

The SD2 is the right fit when your setup is just the airbags, with no air tank. It uses LOGIQ's standard-duty 150psi compressor, which is plenty for keeping two airbags topped up and adjusted. For any setup running an air tank, or for our full airbag kits, we always step up to the AirIQ HD2 and its heavy-duty compressor.

Like every AirIQ unit, the SD2 is assembled and tested at the factory before it ships. It comes as a complete package: compressor, valving, wiring harness, air line and frame mounting brackets.

Why the AirIQ SD2

  • Independent left/right control. Two channels adjust each airbag on its own, so you can level offset and side-heavy loads with ease.
  • Built for airbag-only setups. The 150psi standard-duty compressor (2.03 CFM at 0psi, 25% duty cycle at 100psi) is sized to run two airbags without a tank.
  • App or remote control. Use the free AirIQ app over Bluetooth, or add the AirIQ Remote for a physical controller on your sun visor.
  • Weather-sealed. The compressor is rated IP54, and every other component is IP67.
  • Easy frame mounting. It comes with four frame mounting brackets and a 20ft wiring harness, with no fabrication needed.
  • Universal fitment. It works with load-levelling airbags and helper bags across makes.

SD2 or HD2: Which One Do You Need?

Both are 2-channel AirIQ systems with independent left/right control. The difference is the compressor, and our rule is simple:

  • Airbags only, no tank: AirIQ SD2
  • Running an air tank, or fitting a full airbag kit: AirIQ HD2

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I add an air tank to the SD2 later?

If you're planning on a tank, go with the AirIQ HD2 from the start. We only fit the SD2 to airbag-only setups. For anything with a tank, we always use the HD2 and its heavy-duty compressor.

What's the difference between the SD2 and the HD2?

Both give you 2-channel left/right control. The HD2 has a heavy-duty compressor with higher output (2.62 vs 2.03 CFM), a longer duty cycle (33% vs 25%) and an IP67 compressor rating. That's why we use it for tank setups and full airbag kits.

Do I need the AirIQ Remote?

The free AirIQ app works on its own, but we recommend adding the AirIQ Remote. A physical controller on your sun visor is a quicker, more reassuring way to monitor and adjust your airbags when you're carrying a load.

Can Tough Trucks install it?

Yes. Book a fitting at our Arundel or Mackay workshop and we'll take care of the install.
