RAM 2500 6th gen GVM Upgrade
The 6th gen RAM 2500 is a new model. The stage ratings are locked in. Stage 1 is 5,500 kg. Stages 2 to 5 are 5,890 kg. Stage 6 is 5,800 kg. Combined mass is 12,750 kg and braked towing stays 4,500 kg. That is NB2, so the driver needs a truck licence. Federal approval is not finished, so this is not a completed SSM sign-off yet. These packages are for RAM Australia delivered trucks.
The kilograms below are the locked stage ratings. Federal engineering is not across the line yet.

We will not fit these stages as a finished federal package until the engineering is across the line.
State-Based Engineering
This is the path we can finish now. The federal stages are locked ratings waiting on final approval. A state-based plate sets the kilograms for the VIN, pre or post-rego. AEV Prospector is a complete RAM HD build, not an SSM stage.

Add to the build
Where a stage needs a load-rated wheel, we quote it with the package. It is not approved until the provider signs it off and the load rating meets the figure in the table. The order is an AEV wheel that fits this truck, then the KMC KM733 Impact FFT on an HD 8-lug, then Fuel Maverick or Fuel Vapor in 18x9 or 20x9 at +20. Method is not on this list. Tyres are a BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 when a size meets the stage load index, or a BFGoodrich all-terrain. Lights and a bull bar sit outside the approved kit. A bar, winch or canopy adds kerb weight and uses payload.

6th gen questions
Is the federal package finished?
No. The 6th gen is a new model and the SSM packages are not through final engineering. The stage ratings are locked in: 5,500 kg, then 5,890 kg, and 5,800 kg on stage 6. The federal sign-off is not across the line yet.
Can you upgrade a 6th gen now?
Yes, with State-Based Engineering. That is a modification plate set for the VIN, pre or post-rego, at Arundel or Mackay. It is not the unfinished federal stage table.
Is a 2024 RAM a 6th gen?
No. 2019 to 2024 is 5th gen and the ratings are on that page: 5,300 kg or 5,550 kg. This page is the following generation.
